Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your Road Defender MT account and all associated data at any time, directly from within the app. This page explains how, and what gets removed.

Delete from within the app

1. Open Road Defender MT and sign in.
2. Go to Settings (tap your profile / the settings icon).
3. Under Data & Privacy, tap Delete Account.
4. Read the warning, then type DELETE to confirm.
5. Tap Permanently Delete My Account.

What gets deleted

• Your profile and login credentials.
• Your contact details and registered vehicle plate numbers.
• All reports you have submitted.
• Your notification preferences and device push token.
• All other personal data associated with your account on our servers.

Retention & legal exceptions

Account and profile data are deleted promptly upon request. Submitted reports may be retained for up to 3 years where required for legal and enforcement compliance, after which they are removed. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Your GDPR right to erasure

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Maltese data protection law you have the right to request erasure of your personal data. The in-app deletion fulfils this right immediately.

Need help, or can't access the app?

If you can no longer sign in or need assistance deleting your account, email us and we'll process your deletion request manually. Please write from the email address associated with your account.
