1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Road Defender MT (the "app"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 years of age or older to use Road Defender MT. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. The service

Road Defender MT lets you report parking violations and road obstructions in Malta by capturing a photo, the vehicle's license plate and your location, and — where appropriate — forwarding eligible reports to the Local Enforcement System Agency (LESA). The app is a reporting tool only; it does not issue fines or carry out enforcement.

4. Reporting conduct

Reports must be factual and submitted in good faith. False, misleading or malicious reports are prohibited and may result in suspension or termination of your account and possible legal liability. You must not use the app to harass, intimidate or defame any person.

5. Data accuracy

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit, including license plate numbers and violation types. Inaccurate reports are your responsibility.

6. LESA integration

Reports escalated to LESA are forwarded as submitted. Road Defender MT is not responsible for enforcement decisions, fines, or any action (or inaction) taken by LESA or any other authority.

7. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account, which removes your associated data as described in our Privacy Policy. See Delete Your Account for instructions.

8. Intellectual property

The Road Defender MT name, logo and design are protected. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from them without our prior written permission.

9. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Road Defender MT is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.

10. Changes to the service or terms

We may modify the app or these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malta, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Maltese courts.
